"Munroe Island Lake Resort is in the Beautiful location on the banks of Ashtamudi lake and Kallada river on the backside. Calm and serene environment. Very good hospitality by the owners and team. Stayed in first Cottage which has good lake and river views on the sides as well as both sunset and sunrise views. They prepared tasty and homely Traditional Kerala Dishes and FREE Breakfast Daily. Mesmerizing breeze in the evenings from lakeside which we enjoyed most. Fantastic Munroe view. Also I Enjoyed the beauty of silence, Silent place for Yoga Meditation. Enjoyed the Backwaters Canoe Tour and Traditional Kerala Houseboat tour around the island. I enjoyed to Catch the fish and they cooked with Traditional Kerala Spices.
